    Sales & Business Development Manager – Logistics

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    • We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen client relationships across its logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing client acquisition and retention, overseeing sales and marketing initiatives, and contributing to the overall profitability and strategic growth of the logistics business.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, evaluate, and manage logistics sales and marketing activities to drive revenue growth and expand business operations
    • Identify and develop new business opportunities within SME and corporate markets through research, prospecting, and strategic analysis
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase customer acquisition and retention
    • Support the strategic positioning and growth of the logistics business into a profitable and sustainable operation
    • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly sales, marketing, and revenue budgets for management approval
    • Develop and implement business growth initiatives, brand publicity activities, and market expansion strategies

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Growth in logistics sales revenue
    • Client acquisition and retention rate
    • Achievement of monthly and quarterly revenue targets
    • Operational efficiency and customer satisfaction levels

    Requirements

    Educational Qualification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Business Management, or any related discipline
    • Master’s degree in Business, Project Management, or Finance Management will be an added advantage

    Professional Qualification

    • Relevant professional certifications such as PMP or membership of recognized Project Management or Business Development bodies will be an added advantage

    Experience

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales, business development, or marketing within the logistics, transportation, or related industry
