    Sales Associate

    Desciption

    We are seeking a motivated and talented Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for managing sales and building strong relationships with customers, while supporting the sales growth within the company.

    A successful candidate for this role is an excellent customer service provider who is able to identify/convert potential leads within the market, and consistently meet the sales goals.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough research to identify potential leads within Nigeria.
    • Utilize various tools and channels to qualify leads based on predefined criteria.
    • Track and report key performance metrics, including lead conversion rates, outreach effectiveness, and pipeline contribution.
    • Manage leads and follow up with prospects
    • Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
    • Achieve sales targets and KPI's set by management
    • Provide exceptional customer service and support
    • Maintain accurate records of customer information and sales activity
    • Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
    • Collaborate with team members to improve sales strategies and processes
    • Provide feedback to management on customer needs and market trends

    Requirements

    You're highly likely to thrive in this role if you:

    • Have 2-4 years of experience in B2B sales, especially in Fintech.
    • Have empathy for users and can quickly grasp the contexts within which their businesses operate.
    • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Possess strong interpersonal skills.
    • Have the ability to work a flexible schedule.
    • Are comfortable with technology and ability to learn new systems quickly.
    • Are able to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations.
    • Possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
    • Have the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to drive sales.
    • Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficient in MS Office and CRM software

    Nice to haves:

    • Previous working experience at fast-growing internet startups
    • Experience working with APIs
