Job Summary

• We are seeking a reliable and organized Storekeeper to manage the day-to-day operations of our company's sales and storage facility located at Aba, Abia State.
• The Storekeeper will be responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing products while maintaining accurate records and ensuring the security of the inventory.
• The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and be proficient in inventory management. This candidate will also coordinate sales to the public and sales associates.

Responsibilities
The core responsibilities include:

• Excellent recordkeeping of incoming materials, supplies, and products.
• Use of a computer and relevant software to maintain accurate sales and inventory records.
• Ensuring proper storage of items to prevent damage, spoilage, or theft.
• Providing direct (in-person and telemarketing) sales support to customers and associates.
• Ensuring orderly arrangement and upkeep of products for sale.
• Fulfilling internal and external requests for products.
• Preparing and packaging items for shipping or delivery, while ensuring accurate documentation.
• Preparing periodic reports for the store location.

Qualifications

• Post Secondary education, or equivalent experience in a market-facing role.
• Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Sales Associate, or in a similar role.
• Knowledge of how to use computers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy items.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
