    • The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting sales data across all channels — including Open Trade, Modern Trade, Distributors, and Regional Outlets — to drive informed decision-making, improve forecasting accuracy, and enhance overall sales performance.
    • This role is critical in transforming raw sales data into strategic business intelligence that supports revenue growth, product planning, inventory optimization, and market expansion.
    • If you're passionate about data, trends, and using insights to shape business outcomes, this is your opportunity to contribute meaningfully in a dynamic consumer electronics environment.

    Key Responsibilities
    Sales Data Management & Reporting:

    • Collect, clean, and consolidate daily, weekly, and monthly sales data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, distributor reports, field teams).
    • Generate standard and ad-hoc sales reports for management, marketing, and finance teams.

Maintain dashboards on key metrics such as:

    • Revenue by product line (e.g., fans, lighting, power solutions)
    • Sales performance by region, channel, and sales persons
    • Sell-in vs. sell-out analysis.

    Performance Analysis & Insights:

    • Monitor sales KPIs and identify variances against targets.
    • Analyze trends in product performance, customer behavior, seasonality, and regional demand.
    • Provide root-cause analysis for underperforming products or territories.
    • Highlight top-performing SKUs, best-selling regions, and emerging opportunities.

    Forecasting & Planning Support:

    • Collaborate with the Sales and Supply Chain teams to develop accurate short- and medium-term sales forecasts.
    • Use historical data and market intelligence to predict future demand patterns.
    • Support budgeting and business planning cycles with data-backed projections.

    Inventory & Distribution Insights:

    • Track stock movement and turnover rates across warehouses and retail points.
    • Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock and recommend promotional strategies.
    • Work with logistics and sales operations to reduce out-of-stocks and overstock situations.

    Market & Competitor Intelligence:

    • Gather and analyze competitor pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
    • Prepare comparative reports to guide pricing and go-to-market strategies.
    • Monitor market dynamics in key cities (Lagos, Abuja, Kano, etc.) and advise on regional adjustments.

    Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Partner with Marketing to evaluate campaign effectiveness and ROI.
    • Support Finance with revenue reconciliation and variance reporting.
    • Assist Regional Sales Managers with territory-specific data packs and performance tracking.

    System & Tool Optimization:

    • Ensure data integrity across systems (e.g., ERP, Excel, Google Sheets, BI tools).
    • Recommend improvements to data collection processes and reporting templates.
    • Explore automation opportunities to reduce manual workload and increase efficiency.

    Requirements & Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 2–4 years of experience in sales analysis, business intelligence, or commercial operations — preferably in FMCG, consumer electronics, or retail.
    • Experience working with large datasets and reporting tools.

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas) and Google Workspace
    • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio) – preferred
    • Knowledge of ERP systems or CRM platforms – advantageous
    • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Ability to present complex data in simple, clear formats
    • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
