Job Summary

• We are hiring a Rigging Supervisor to oversee and execute offshore lifting and rigging operations for oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and an uncompromising approach to safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead rigging and lifting operations on offshore vessels/platforms.
• Develop and review rigging plans, lifting configurations, and safety checks.
• Supervise cranes, winches, and rigging crews during offshore operations.
• Ensure compliance with offshore safety procedures, JSA, and PTW.
• Inspect and certify rigging gear, maintain records, and mentor crew.

Requirements

• Technical certification/diploma in Mechanical, Structural, or Marine discipline.
• 5–10 years offshore rigging experience, 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of LOLER, IMCA, API RP 2D standards.
• Experience in subsea, topside, FPSO module, or jacket installation.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and lifting plans.
• Skilled with cranes, winches, hydraulic lifting systems, and rigging aids.
• Valid offshore certifications (e.g.,BOSIET,HUET,OGUK Medical)
• Lifting Supervisor certification (e.g., OPITO, LOLER Appointed Person, or IMCA-recognized training)
• Experience working on offshore projects inWest Africa
• French language proficiency is a plus (but not required).
