Rig Electrician Level II at Scruples Resources

• We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Rig Electrician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment on the rig.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, maintain, and repair rig electrical systems and equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective electrical maintenance. 
• Troubleshoot electrical faults and report defects or non-compliance. 
• Ensure all electrical work meets applicable safety standards and procedures. 
• Maintain electrical tools, equipment, spare parts, and work areas. 
• Participate in safety meetings and emergency response activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Industrial Electrical Technology or equivalent electrical trade certification.
• 1+ year of experience as a Rig Electrician on a 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible. 
• 2+ years of High Voltage (HV) and Low Voltage (LV) experience.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams.Proficiency in using electrical testing tools and equipment.
• Good English communication skills. 
• Organized, safety-conscious, and professional with a high level of integrity.
• Must pass required physical, drug screening, and background/pre-employment checks.
