The Revenue Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing the hotel’s revenue strategy and maximizing profitability. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong analytical background, capable of leveraging data to drive decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will work closely with various departments, including Sales, Marketing, and Operations, to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Reservations Department, ensuring smooth daily operations and compliance with Hyatt’s brand and service standards.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue teams to maximize room sales, occupancy, and yield through proactive inventory and rate management.
Maintain and regularly update operational manuals, rate loading, and reservations systems to ensure efficiency and data integrity.
Conduct accurate forecasting and participate in revenue and yield meetings to align strategy with performance goals.
Oversee the handling of all reservations, including individual, group, and corporate bookings—ensuring personalized service and clean guest data.
Manage overbooking scenarios, group blocks, and room lists in collaboration with key departments.
Support financial planning through participation in the Annual Business Plan and monthly reforecasting.
Recruit, train, and mentor team members, fostering professional development and alignment with Hyatt’s culture of care.
Handle guest and colleague inquiries or complaints with empathy, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolution.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Revenue Manager or similar position.
Pre-Opening experience is an advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue management within the hotel industry.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in revenue management software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Knowledge of current market trends and competitive landscape. and social media.
