Position Overview

• JSI is hiring two state research note takers. The research will work with the State team lead and research assistant to strengthen the assessment portion of the lessons learned from the recent HPV Vaccine Introduction, will interact with key Government and Non-Governmental Stakeholders, caregivers, community leaders, health care workers, and State/LGA-level managers, with the aim to better understand their perception and key lessons from the vaccine introduction

Responsibilities of the Nigeria Learning Qualitative Research Assistant
Specific responsibilities of the Research Note Taker will include, but not be limited to, the following assigned duties:

• Be a part of interview, recording and transcribing of interviews, support interviews, participate in daily debrief
• Work closely with the research assistant and other members of the team.
• Harmonize notes with the research assistant and share with the state team lead.

Qualifications
Is a consultancy position in which the consultant must be based in Adamawa and Benue States for this position the candidate must have the following qualifications:

• HND / Degree in Design, health sciences. Comparable work experience will be considered.
• Solid experience on Social Science or SBCC especially the Nigerian context.
• Experience note taking for research interviews
• Availability for internal trips in Adamawa and Benue States for research settings
