Research Assistant at Medecins Sans Frontieres

Duration:                         27th September – 30th November 2021 – short term contract

Duty Station                    MSF OCA, NOMA Project (Based in Sokoto town)

Main objective and responsibilities:

Lead the team of research activities in Sokoto and Kebbi States:

• Be responsible for following the security protocols
• Lead the teams in data collection
• Ensure high standards of data quality
• Manage team of research assistants

REQUIREMENTS (QUALIFICATIONS):

Required  :

• Bachelor degree in statistics, IT, public health, research, epidemiology, biostatistics, nursing
• Fluent in English and Hausa, both spoken and written
• Computer literacy, interviewing techniques, data collection

Desirable

• Work with Noma patients
• Operational research
• Data entry on tablets
• Team Management
• Experience with MSF or other NGOs
• Good interpersonal skills, attention to detail, multitasking skills
