Job Summary

Primary coverage of Banking, Telecommunication, Asset management or FMCG sector, and first-line reviewer of major research reports. Our ideal candidate will also be actively involved in strategy.

Responsibilities

• Banking, Telecommunication, Asset management or FMCG Sector Analyst responsible for building and updating models, publishing relevant seasonal & off-season reports, and supervising younger analysts in the team.
• Researching market trends, conducting surveys, analyzing data from competitors, and analyzing the business's operations, expenditures, and customer retention to identify patterns of potential issues or improvements.
• Using data analysis and interpretations to guide the decision-making of the business.
• Organizing and storing data for future research projects.
• The ideal candidate will also be the first-line reviewer for research reports and report to the Head of Research.

Qualifications

• A first degree, Bsc in any discipline but Finance, Economics, or Computer Science,  is preferred.
• Class of degree - First Class or Second Class Upper IS VERY COMPULSORY
• Experienced Banking, telecommunication, asset management, or FMCG Sector Analyst with a minimum of 3- 4 years experience in the role
