Role Description

• This is a full-time, on-site role located in Benin, Edo state, for a Repossession Officer.
• The Repossession Officer will be responsible for recovering company assets from customers with overdue payments in Edo and neighboring states, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Daily responsibilities include locating clients, assessing recovery situations, retrieving assets, maintaining detailed records, and providing customer feedback to assist in improving payment and service strategies.
• The role requires close collaboration with team members and other departments.

Qualifications

• Asset Recovery and Repossession skills, including locating and retrieving assets
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and colleagues
• Attention to Detail and Record-Keeping skills for accurate documentation
• Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution skills to handle challenging recovery situations
• Basic knowledge of Compliance and Regulatory Practices related to asset recovery
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Minimum of a National Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus
• Proficiency in local language and familiarity with the South South area OF Nigeria is beneficial.
