    Remote Senior Full Stack Back-end-heavy Engineer (Java and JavaScript)

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Develop a long-term regulatory platform with well-defined APIs that is service-oriented, modular, configurable, and efficient 

    • Build and implement an industry-first portal that enables a direct understanding of the impact 

    • Manage compliance with local regulations, as applicable 

    • Create highly-automated, auditable, access-controlled tools for compliance managers to address issues 

    • Design intuitive experiences for hosts that simplify the process to comply with their local regulations

    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

    • 3+ years of full-time work experience in software engineering, information technology, or other related domain 

    • Must be proficient in Java 

    • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript or related web technologies 

    • Familiarity with popular storage systems such as relational databases, NoSQL or caching 

    • Proficiency in Ruby is a bonus 

    • Ability to write high-performance production-quality code 

    • Knowledge of SOA (service-oriented architecture) design patterns 

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills 

    • Bias for action and the ability to operate in an ambiguous environment 

    • Desire to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
