    Regional Sales Representative - Lube

    The Regional Sales Representative (Lubricants) is responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and developing strong distributor and dealer networks within the assigned region. The role involves implementing effective sales strategies, managing customer relationships, and ensuring consistent achievement of sales targets for lubricant products in alignment with the company’s overall commercial objectives.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

    Sales Growth & Revenue Generation

    • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for lubricant products within the assigned region.
    • Execute sales plans and promotional activities to expand market reach and improve product penetration.
    • Monitor and report on competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments.

    Distributor & Dealer Network Development

    • Identify, onboard, and manage new distributors, dealers, and retail outlets to strengthen the distribution network.
    • Support channel partners with sales activation, training, and marketing materials to enhance brand visibility and performance.
    • Evaluate dealer performance and recommend actions for improvement.

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, industrial users, and transport fleet owners.
    • Resolve customer complaints promptly and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product delivery and after-sales support.

    Market Intelligence & Reporting

    • Conduct regular market surveys to gather insights on pricing, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
    • Prepare and submit timely weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales reports.
    • Provide recommendations to management on new business opportunities and strategic improvements.
    • Compliance & Operational Excellence
    • Ensure adherence to company sales policies, pricing structure, and credit control guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer data, and distributor accounts.
    • Promote a culture of operational discipline, ethical conduct, and safety compliance.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    Education Requirement

    • B.Sc. or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or any related discipline.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in lubricant sales, distributorship management, and dealer development.
    • Strong understanding of the lubricant market, including retail and industrial segments.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Excellent negotiation and business development skills.
    • Strong analytical and market intelligence abilities.
    • Good interpersonal and relationship management skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
    • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
