Scope:
Developing and Executing Regional Marketing Plans: Creating and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns that align with the overall marketing goals of the company, while also addressing the unique needs and characteristics of the specific region.
Managing Regional Teams: Supervising and providing guidance to marketing teams & regional agencies within the region, including performance management, training, and development.
Innovations & NPD lead for the Region: Analyzing market trends, conducting market research, consumer immersions, trade visits to collate and analyze data, to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes within the region, and using this information to refine the NPD pipeline and assist in development & rollout of NPDs in the region.
Optimizing Campaigns / Activations for the region: Monitoring the performance of marketing campaigns / activations, analyzing data, and adjusting to improve effectiveness and maximizing return on investment.
Collaborating with Sales Teams: Working closely with sales teams to ensure alignment between marketing and sales efforts, share market intelligence, and drive revenue growth within the region.
Managing Budgets: Developing and Managing marketing budgets for the region, tracking expenses, and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Building Relationships: Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers, within the region.
Ensuring Brand Consistency: Ensuring that the brands’ message and identity are consistently communicated across all marketing channels within the region.
Reporting and Analysis: Providing regular reports and updates to management on the performance of marketing activities, key trends, and competitive landscape within the region.
Education & Skills
MBA Degree (Marketing) from a University / Business School of repute.
Ability to plan and execute in line with the marketing plans and objectives.
Should be well-versed with the terrain, culture and languages of Northern Nigeria.

Communication & Presentation Skills.
Interpersonal Skills and Stakeholder Management
Ability to lead and mentor a team.
Experience:
12 to 15 years of Food / FMCG industry experience in the Marketing function, with demonstrable successes in the concerned region.
The ideal candidate should have knowledge and experience in marketing planning and execution, in the FMCG space, preferably in food, with demonstrable experience in managing multiple and large brands in reputed food & beverage companies, in the concerned region.
