This is a full-time on-site role as a Regional Legal Officer located in Ibadan.
As a Regional Legal Officer, you will be responsible for handling legal matters and providing legal advice and support to the Bank.
This includes reviewing and drafting legal documents, perfection of securities, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, liaising with external solicitors and preparing strategies for the Bank in legal proceedings. You will also work closely with other departments to provide legal guidance and support for business activities.
Qualifications
Law degree from an accredited institution
Professional Qualification/License to practice Law in Nigeria;
Minimum of a Second Class (Upper Division)
Minimum of 7 years of experience as a legal officer in the banking sector.
Masters’ Degree or a relevant professional qualification will be an advantage.
Strong knowledge of Nigerian laws and regulations
Ability to work independently, handle multiple tasks with attention to detail and lead a team.
