Regional Accounts Supervisor at Biswal Limited

Job Objective/

Purpose of Job:

The Regional Accountant is responsible for ensuring all timely and accurate information reporting (including responsibilities for job cost tracking, balance sheet reconciliations, processing bank draws, research, and communication with project managers on project status and payment approvals) are adherently followed

Location: Ibadan(Only Ibadan residence should apply) 

Reports To: HOD Account Payable

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.    Reconciliation

• Maintain timely and accurate general ledger (posting entries, recording accruals, etc.)
• Maintain timely and accurate account reconciliations
• Coordinating on a daily basis inventory issue and receipt ensure it corresponds with the approved request
• Monitor and ensure that daily inventory issue and receipts are reflected on the Bin card at the close of business
• Review and verify request from field Engineers
• Review and validates invoice s from field Engineers
• Prepare and process electronic transfer payment in line with validated and approved request
• Validate repairs and ensure payment are made IRO sites covered by Biswal
• Monitor and reconcile dispensing of diesel from the dump with the warehouse supervisor
• Daily tracking of expenses down to clusters and sites
• Correspond with Field Engineers and stakeholders and respond to financial inquiries
• Monitor and ensure that replaced spare parts are returned to the warehouse
• Monitor and liaise with the warehouse supervisor to ensure, black oil and empty kegs are returned by field Engineers
• Reconcile the returned black oil and empty keg with the quantity issued out
• Validate field Engineer’s retirement and make the necessary adjustment for monthly reimbursement
• Monitor and validate diesel consumption of warehouse generator
• keeping comprehensive records of all the financial transactions in the region
• Monitor credit card usage (electricity)

2.    Administrative Duties

• Lead Accounting team with analysis and reporting of project costs.
• Monitor team performance and give guidance when needed.
• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly financial statements, including monthly WIP reports
• Assist in the development/enhancement of project reporting
• Monitor the daily performance of the Regional Account Officer
• Organize financial data into useable information and maintain updated records
• Assist with project analysis reporting
• Job cost tracking, analysis and reporting.
• Establish accounting policies and procedures, aligned with company’s Policy and Ensure compliance with the law
• Any other responsibilities as maybe determined by the HOD Account Payable and CFO.
