Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning Technician at NewRest Group

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, test and maintain refrigeration and air conditioning units
• Fabricate and assemble structural and functional components of refrigeration and air conditioning system using hand tools and welding equipment
• Inspect all electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and need for adjustment or repair
• Install wiring to connect components to an electric power source
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all cooling machine and equipment
• Keeping records of repairs and replacements made and causes of malfunctions
• Inspect the purchase of company electrical spare parts
• Practice proper grooming, personal hygiene, and use safety equipment
• Compliance with all company standards, food safety requirements, health, safety and environment procedures
• Ensure all company maintenance policies and procedures are implemented and enforced.
• Ensure that company standards for the performance of maintenance functions are consistently maintained.
• Keep informed of and provide plans for the communities to accommodate changes in local, state and federal code requirements as it relates to maintenance operations.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Develop and follow preventative maintenance procedures.
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in a similar role
• Working knowledge of HVAC system
• B.Sc or equivalent in Engineering and related fields
• Knowledge of airport operations
• Proven experience working on cooling systems
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools
• Knowledge of company’s hygiene requirements and safety regulations
• Fluent English, written and spoken
• Above average computer skills
