Recycling Machine Operator at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Grinder Operator to operate and monitor industrial plastic grinding/granulating equipment used in the recycling and processing of waste plastic materials.
• The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience operating plastic recycling machinery and be able to maintain efficient machine performance and consistent material output.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic grinding/granulating machines.
• Feed waste plastic materials into the grinder according to production requirements.
• Monitor machine performance and ensure consistent output.
• Inspect processed plastic materials for quality and proper size.
• Clear minor blockages and carry out basic machine adjustments.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of grinding equipment.
• Report machine faults, abnormal sounds, overheating or other operational issues.
• Follow production procedures and workplace safety standards.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to minimise downtime.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND or relevant technical qualification.
• 2–5 years' experience operating plastic grinding, granulating, shredding or recycling machines.
• Experience in a plastic manufacturing or recycling environment is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of plastic materials and recycling processes is an advantage.
• Ability to operate machinery safely and identify basic machine faults.
• Physically fit and able to work in a factory environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions.
