Recovery Officer

Job Brief
- The Recovery Officer is responsible for the collection of debts prior to legal recovery proceedings commencing, negotiating payments/payment arrangements, handling debtor enquiries and provides administrative assistance to the team.
Qualifications
- HND / B.Sc degree Holder.
- 2 or 3 years of hands-on experience with a Microfinance/finance company.
- Relevant skills in portfolio management.
- Modern and grassroots method of loan recovery and remediation.
- Must have a proactive approach towards loan recovery, commitment, and follow up
- Understanding undertakings, oaths, and guarantorship bonds to loan recovery approach.
- Understanding loan products sme, retail, micro, products paper, etc
- Must be able to manage relationships between regulators, and security officers on loan recovery and remediation.
- High level of integrity and loyalty to the bank.
- Microfinance Certification is a plus
- Hands-on experience in using Orbit is a plus.
