Recovery Agent at Hadi Finance

Job Overview:

Hadi Finance is seeking a dedicated and experienced Recovery Agent to join our team in Abuja, Lagos (Iyana-Ipaja), and Aba. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in debt collection and recovery, strong communication skills (including Pidgin English), and the ability to engage with clients in both formal and informal markets. The Recovery Officer will report directly to the Head of Risk.

Salary Range: ₦70,000 - ₦80,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct field visits to engage clients for debt recovery.
• Negotiate repayment terms and implement strategies to ensure timely recovery.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients while adhering to company policies.
• Document all interactions, maintaining accurate records of recovery efforts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to escalate issues and provide updates on progress.
• Provide feedback on process improvements to enhance recovery efficiency.
• Report recovery efforts and outcomes directly to the Head of Risk.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year’ experience in debt collection and recovery.
• Strong communication skills, including fluency in Pidgin English.
• Familiarity with the informal market and ability to relate to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role and willingness to travel within the assigned location.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
