Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Radiographer with expertise in operating and managing CT, MRI, and C-Arm imaging equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge and experience in handling these advanced imaging technologies and will be committed to providing patient-focused services. This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining high-quality standards, and ensuring the optimal functioning of radiology equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and manage CT, MRI, and C-Arm imaging equipment, ensuring accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging results.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures, including scans, interpreting results as needed in collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Maintain radiology equipment and perform routine checks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all equipment is calibrated and in good working order.
• Assist in the management of patient records using Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) and relevant IT systems.
• Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines while conducting imaging procedures.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and timely diagnosis.
• Ensure clear and effective communication with patients, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Participate in preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of imaging equipment to minimize downtime.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Degree in Radiography or related fields.
• At least three (3) years of post-qualification experience in a radiology department.
• Strong technical knowledge and experience in using MRI and CT equipment is essential.
• Proficiency in using PACS and other radiology software/technology.
• Postgraduate qualification in Radiography is desirable but not required.

• Proficiency in the use of at least a 64-slice CT.
• Must be able to perform complicated MRI scans (e.g., cardiac MRIs).
• Proficiency in triphasic imaging.
• Proficiency in angiographic studies of all types (MRI and CT).
• Commitment and dedication to the role.

Salary:

• Starting salary of N400,000.00, with post-probationary salary up to N800,000.00, based on skill and experience.
