The RF Engineer will be responsible for planning, optimizing, and maintaining radio access network performance across all technologies.
The role requires strong analytical capability, hands-on experience with drive test tools, RF planning software, and the ability to collaborate with field teams to ensure excellent network quality.
Key Responsibilities
Perform RF planning, design, and frequency planning for mobile networks.
Conduct drive tests, analyze KPI performance, and recommend optimization actions
Troubleshoot coverage and capacity issues, interference, and call drop problem.
Work with vendors and field engineers to implement configuration changes and parameter tunning.
Support site roll-out activities, including nominal planning, site acceptance, and cluster optimization
Prepare technical reports, performance dashboards, and recommendations for management and clients.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
2–5 years hands-on experience in RF planning/optimization for GSM/UMTS/LTE networks (experience with 5G is an advantage)
Proficiency with RF and Network analysis tools
Strong understanding of RF propagation, parameters, KPIs, and optimization methodologies
Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skils.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously
