R&D Pharmacist at Afrab Chem

Key Responsibilities

• Design and perform formulation experiments for development of stable formulations for liquid, semi-solid and solid dosage forms that are compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) regulations.
• Evaluate existing literatures, patents and develop non-infringing formulations for new products.
• Conduct physical and chemical studies. Chemical Studies are to be organized with R&D analytical department to finalize formulation trials.
• Develop manufacturing processes for R&D formulations so that the technical transfer is successful for large scale batches.
• Participating in the design of pre-formulation, optimization, perform small scale trials and scale up batches.
• Write/review product development reports, manufacturing batch records, process validation protocols and reports, method validation protocols and reports, method transfer protocols and reports, SOPs etc.
• Document all the product development activities in assigned laboratory notebooks. Manage multiple development projects and develop formulations in a timely manner.

Education and Experience

• B.Pharmacy or M.Sc.Pharmacy.
• 2-3 years of experience with is a must, all interested candidates will be taken into consideration.
• Excellent communication skill. Good command of French language is an added advantage.
• Computer: Excellent in MS office, Outlook, and Excel.
