R&D Manager at Proforce Limited

• The R&D Manager will lead the research and development initiatives of the company by overseeing the design, testing, and implementation of new products and improvements to existing ones. This role plays a critical part in driving innovation, ensuring product quality, reducing cost, and maintaining competitiveness in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement R&D strategies in alignment with the company\'s goals.
• Lead product innovation and improvement projects from concept to launch.
• Supervise and support the R&D team in conducting research, product trials, and testing.
• Analyze industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and marketing teams to ensure product feasibility and market relevance.
• Ensure all new products meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Manage the R&D budget, timelines, and resource allocation efficiently.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of all R&D processes and outcomes.
• Liaise with external research bodies, suppliers, and technology partners where necessary.
• Report R&D progress and outcomes to senior management regularly.

Job Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

• B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Product Development, or related fields.
• Additional certifications in Project Management or Innovation Management are an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 – 7 years of progressive experience in product development or R&D within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
