We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor on a contract basis to support cost estimation, budgeting, and financial control of our interior design and architectural projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the design and project management teams to ensure cost-efficiency and value delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates and budgets for interior design and fit-out projects
Analyze drawings and specifications to provide detailed bills of quantities (BOQs)
Source and negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors
Monitor and track project costs throughout the project lifecycle
Evaluate and process variations and change orders
Prepare interim valuations and final accounts
Ensure all financial and contractual aspects are properly managed
Conduct site visits to assess work progress against budgets
Collaborate with architects, designers, and contractors to ensure alignment on scope and cost
Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building Technology, or related field
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in quantity surveying, preferably within the interior design/architectural space
Strong knowledge of construction and interior finishing materials
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft)
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
