Job:

• We are seeking a skilled and self-driven Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will oversee cost estimation, budget control, procurement, and contract administration to ensure project delivery within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and project budgets.
• Oversee project finances including valuations, cash flow forecasts, and cost tracking.
• Conduct feasibility studies, value engineering, and risk analysis.
• Prepare tender documents, bills of quantities, and contract agreements.
• Evaluate subcontractor bids and negotiate contract terms.
• Monitor project progress and manage variations and cost control.
• Provide support on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders for cost efficiency.
• Deliver financial reports and updates to management and clients.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
• Professional membership with NIQS, RICS, or equivalent is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar construction-related role.
• Solid understanding of standard forms of contracts (FIDIC, JCT, NEC, etc.).
• Strong numerical, analytical, and negotiation abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office and QS software such as CostX or WinQS.
• High attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure.
