Job Description

• Assisting in ensuring sustainable quality of our products and services before customers consumption by monitoring all on-line production activities and ensure that they conform to company’s standards and practices.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for line activities for the production process
• Read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand the requirements of products and services.
• Measure product dimensions, examine functionality, and compare the final product to the specifications.
• Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
• Document inspection outcomes by completing detailed reports and performance records.
• Ensure proper documentation of all activities in designated area.
• Oversee machine performance and standard adherence.
• Coordinate the packing activities in the packing areas.
• Ensure adherence to laid down standards in the usage of finished goods, quarantine & other products on the floor.
• Hold, reject or approve finished product (FG)
• Reject all products and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
• Initiate, coordinate the sorting activities of market returns.
• Join the team to implement the hygiene and safety regulations of the company.
• Ensure that the CCPs (Critical Control Points) are constantly monitored & controlled in line with company standards & policies.
• Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence.
• Ensure that no non-conformity is raised during external & internal Audits.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and numeric skills
• Certification in quality control is a strong advantage (ISO9000 etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Basic computer and math skills to calibrate and measure specifications.
• Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers, and computers.
• Good safety habits
• Age not more than 35 years of age
• HND/OND in microbiology, food science technology or related field (at least lower credit minimum)
