Role Overview

• The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for ensuring that fabrics, garment components, work-in-progress items and finished outfits meet the brand's established quality standards.
• The role involves conducting detailed inspections at different stages of production, identifying defects, monitoring workmanship and ensuring that completed garments reflect the quality, fit, finishing and craftsmanship expected of a luxury fashion brand.
• The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of garment construction, fabric quality, couture finishing and quality assurance processes.

What you’ll do

• Inspect incoming fabrics, embellishments and garment materials for defects and spec compliance
• Run quality checks at each stage of production, from cutting and stitching to assembly
• Inspect finished bridal gowns, bespoke outfits and ready-to-wear pieces for fit, finishing and detailing, and approve them for presentation or dispatch
• Support quality checks during client fittings and alterations
• Keep inspection records, track recurring defects and report to management
• Work with tailors, pattern cutters and production teams to improve quality and consistency

What we’re looking for

• Diploma, HND or degree in Fashion Design, Garment Technology, Textile Technology or a related field
• 2–4 years’ experience in quality control or assurance in fashion, garment manufacturing, bridal couture or bespoke tailoring
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, stitching, fitting and finishing
• Experience inspecting luxury fabrics, embellishments and delicate materials
• Sharp attention to detail, analytical thinking and clear communication
• A collaborative, accountable, professional approach
