Job Summary

• We are seeking a Fashion Quality Control Officer to ensure that all garments and fashion products meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers.
• The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong knowledge of garment construction, and the ability to detect defects or inconsistencies in fabric, stitching, and overall production.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, fabrics, and finished garments to ensure they meet company and industry standards.
• Identify defects, inconsistencies, or production errors in stitching, fabric quality, patterns, and embellishments.
• Collaborate with production teams to implement quality control procedures and resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure that all products meet the required size, fit, and finishing standards before approval.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Keep detailed records of quality assessments, reporting trends and recurring issues.
• Work closely with designers, tailors, and manufacturers to uphold quality expectations.
• Ensure that all products align with brand standards and customer expectations.
• Recommend improvements in manufacturing processes to enhance product quality and reduce defects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Design, Textile Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in quality control within the fashion or garment industry.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, and sewing techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot defects quickly.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
