Quality Control Laboratory at Sunbeth Global Concepts (SGC)

The Quality Control Laboratory Assistant provides operational support to the Quality Control Department by assisting in the collection, scooping, and handling of commodity samples for laboratory testing. The role ensures that all samples are accurately and representatively collected in compliance with established quality standards, laboratory procedures, and safety regulations, supporting reliable analysis and product quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the collection and scooping of commodity samples from designated storage or production points for laboratory analysis.
• Ensure all samples are collected in a representative, accurate, and contamination-free manner.
• Properly label, document, and transport samples to the laboratory in line with established procedures.
• Support adherence to quality control protocols, SOPs, and safety standards during sampling activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper handling of sampling tools and equipment.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records of all sampled materials and related documentation.
• Coordinate with Quality Control Officers and Laboratory Analysts to ensure timely sample delivery and processing.
• Report any abnormalities, contamination risks, or deviations observed during sampling.
• Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and operational standards within sampling and laboratory support activities.

Requirements

• Minimum of SSCE/OND in Science Laboratory Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in quality control, laboratory assistance, or sampling operations is an advantage.
• Experience in FMCG, agro-processing, or manufacturing environments is preferred.
