Quality Control Executive / Project Lead at Strada Media

Job Description
The Goal of a Lead, Quality and Control is to perform some or all of the following duties;

• Produce, interpret and review shop/structural engineering drawings. Inspect completed work and or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements. Work with senior managers to identify approaches and methods to improve overall quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Produces or get consultants to produce engineering drawings of platforms as required by the business.
• Supervise all projects and platforms to ensure that materials supplied conform to the billboard specifications and quality.
• Conduct and participate in test case reviews, requirement reviews, design reviews, and change control activities
• Observes and monitors construction/deployment activities to assure quality and conformance with plans and specifications
• Reviews, tracks and summarizes quality control non-conformances and ensures appropriate follow up.
• Review cost vis a vis quality needed to be achieved.
• Continually improve the system, processes, and make suggestions for changes and improvements.
• Conduct routine inspection in all sites, ensuring controls and documentation procedures.
• Recommend and follow through necessary maintenance needed for our platforms and keep record of the maintenance schedules.
• Ensure services rendered meet the established standards of quality including reliability and performance
• Evaluate adequacy, interpret, and implement quality assurance standards
• Ensure implementation and efficiency of quality and inspection system
• Ensure that all products and procedures are in compliance with established statutory specifications and regulatory standards while liaising with Government Regulatory Bodies.
• Set up vendors integration and meetings to ensure smooth flow of work in relation to quality requirement.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate must have a B.Sc. Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
• 4-5 years’ experience in a QA/QC position in the construction/ advertising industry
• Professional experience delivering successful project operations in a media, commercial or advertising company
• Good knowledge of quality assurance and quality control systems.
• Good knowledge of Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Good knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Good communication and decision-making skills.
• Ability to cope with pressure and experience in dealings with contractors of all kinds.
• Experienced and familiar with the federal and state-building and safety legislations.
