Quality Assurance Lead at Ascentech Services Limited

Position Overview

• We are seeking an experienced and proactive Quality Assurance Lead to manage all quality assurance activities within our manufacturing facility.
• The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, while leading a dedicated QA team and collaborating across departments to drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily QA operations in the production facility.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards, GMP, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement quality procedures, testing protocols, and inspection plans.
• Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits with clients and regulatory agencies.
• Investigate quality issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to maintain product quality.
• Maintain accurate quality records and documentation as per QMS guidelines.
• Train, mentor, and manage performance of QA team members.
• Track and report on quality metrics and suggest improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

• HND / Bachelor's Degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Food Science, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, preferably in the food or snack manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, and other quality systems.
• Experience leading QA teams and managing compliance with regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with quality documentation, audits, and corrective action processes.
