Job Summary

• A Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for ensuring that software or products meet established standards of quality, reliability, and performance before they are released to customers.
• They design and execute test plans, identify bugs or defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

Responsibilities
Functional Testing:

• Database Testing: Test databases to store and retrieve data efficiently.
• API Testing: Create and maintain Application Programming In-terfaces (APIs) for communication between the front-end and back-end components.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize the back-end for speed, efficiency, and scalability.
• Integration Testing: Integrate third-party services and data-bases into the application.
• Defect reporting: Identify and resolve issues in the server-side code and infrastructure.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality soft-ware.
• Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for the back-end code and infrastructure.
• Security: Implement security measures to protect data and prevent unauthorized access.

Requirements

• Programming Languages: JavaScript
• Databases: Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• APIs: Experience with testing RESTful APIs.
• Operating Systems: Knowledge of Linux or other server-side operating systems.
• Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to document test cases, execute test cases and defect report, Document analysis, Critical thinking, JavaScript, MYSQL, API, Version control(Git), AWS, Apache, Postman, Microservices, Experience working with T24 (Core Banking Application), automation and ISTQB will be an added advantage
