QA Tester / QA Engineer at KINZ Global Consult

Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for both frontend and backend components.
• Verify data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across ingestion, processing, storage, and reporting layers.
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and product managers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.
• Conduct API testing for backend services (REST/GraphQL) to ensure reliability and data correctness.
• Validate UI workflows, ensuring smooth user interaction and accurate representation of backend data.
• Identify, log, and track defects through their lifecycle, and provide clear documentation for debugging.
• Implement automated tests where appropriate (UI, API, and data validation)
• Perform performance and load testing on key data workflows and system endpoints.
• Support release validation by conducting regression, smoke, and end-to-end testing. Requirements

Requirements

• (3–5+ years) in software QA or test engineering.
• Strong background in testing data-intensive applications, ETL processes, or analytics/reporting platforms.
• Proficiency with SQL (queries, joins, aggregations) to validate data integrity across databases.
• Experience testing REST APIs (e.g., Postman, REST Assured, Karate, etc.).
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG).
• Strong understanding of data validation techniques and business rule testing.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.).

Skills:

• Familiarity with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Superset).
• Experience with automated testing tools
• Exposure to performance/load testing tools (JMeter, Gatling, k6).
• Experience with data governance and quality frameworks.
