The Plumbing inspector is responsible for ensuring that the plumbing systems in the Organization meet local building codes and standards.
The individual would commonly inspect new construction projects to ensure that they’re following code, as well as existing structures to make sure that they aren’t violating any regulations.
The Plumbing inspector would be called upon to investigate issues with the organization plumbing system.
This might include anything from minor leaks or clogs to major problems like burst pipes or collapsed sewer lines. In these cases, they work closely with contractors and other professionals to determine the cause of the issue and how best to resolve it.
Requirements
Two (2) years Industrial / Technical College Diploma plus a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience
A good working knowledge of quality system standards and methods
Working knowledge/experience of codes such as the Uniform Plumbing ore equivalent standards
Experience working in Middle East will be an added advantage
