    QA & QC Officer

    Description

    • Oversee the Checking of the core sheets, overlay (plain & coated), inlay and other parameters prior to production.
    • Carry out pre-qualification process of the printed core sheets with respect to the CQM requirements first personalized cards and the sample size as stipulated in the SOP
    • Carry out random physical check on printed sheets
    • Carry out random physical check on collated sheets
    • Carry out random physical check on all punched cards
    • Carry out random physical check on all hot stamped cards (for both hologram and signature panel
    • Oversee the Sorting of all defect cards to different categories of blemish, stain, bubbles, scratches etc and package such accordingly.
    • Oversee the Proper documentation of all job upload via the Card Manufacturing Job Quality Report taking into consideration First Card Approval/Reject Slip, Job Quality Report, Delivery Ticket etc.
    • Ensure that all Job Quality Reports are substantiated with the peel strength test, color quality, sorted jobs (according to identified errors)
    • Participate in tripartite counting for all jobs done
    • Oversee the Retirement of blank core sheets/uncompleted jobs to the goods trap
    • Oversee the Counting of job and balance it with the requisition form before retiring to the goods trap
    • Oversee the pre-qualification and qualification exercise on module adhesiveness, module flatness, P1 and P2 of the card cavity, Bending and Twisting, and Compression Test (or card push test) before bulk run for milling & Embedding
    • Oversee the 100% physical check on all milled and embedded cards and ensure correct packaging of cards in the right boxes
    • Oversee the Validation of the first personalized cards and the sample size as stipulated in the SOP
    • Oversee the 100% physical check on cards during printing
    • Oversee the 100% physical check on cards during personalization
    • Oversee the 100% physical check on all fulfilled cards
    • Oversee the Proper documentation of all job upload via the First Card Approval/Reject Slip, Job Quality Report, Printing Delivery Ticket, Personalization Delivery Ticket, Job Uploads.
    • Ensure that all Job Quality
    • Must verify all job orders and ensure it is properly requested before giving a go ahead to the team to commence operations.
    • Work with the embedding team to ensure that all required materials for the order are available and in good condition before commencement
    • Ensure proper saving/storage of all reports per bank per job upload.
    • Attend weekly/monthly meetings/trainings schedule for Quality Control staff

    Key Performance Indicators &Conduct Requirements:

    • High professional standard of Quality Assurance & Control, ISO 9001:2015 QMS principles, CQM, and good manufacturing documentation practise.
    • Display a'can-do'attitude
    • Zero tolerance error/reject

    Additional Information:

    • Assist the Assistant Manager when is on leave or have other contingencies
    • Be involved in “Train-the-trainer” in the department.

    Qualifications & experience

    • BSc / HND in any social sciences
    • Minimum 2 years' Quality Assurance & Control in Card Manufacturing
    • ISO 9001:2015 QMS
    • Card Quality Management (CQM)
    • Strong IT skills
