QA/QC Engineer at Rosettee Construction

Job Purpose (Summary):

• To ensure that all construction activities, materials, and workmanship meet established quality standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. The QA/QC Engineer develops, implements, and monitors quality control procedures to achieve consistent compliance, durability, and excellence in all engineering deliverables.

Key Responsibilities / Duties

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines in line with industry standards, specifications, and regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction sites, materials, and equipment to verify compliance with project and quality requirements.
• Perform tests and measurements on construction materials and components to assess quality, durability, and performance.
• Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues and promote continuous improvement.
• Document and report non-conformities, deficiencies, and deviations, recommending timely corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractors and suppliers for compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations.
• Provide training, orientation, and technical guidance to project teams on QA/QC procedures and best practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of quality control activities, including test results, inspection reports, and compliance certificates.
• Coordinate and supervise field testing, inspection, and certification of works as per project and contract requirements.
• Manage and maintain QA/QC documentation such as calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and material approvals.
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs and Site Instructions to maintain workflow integrity.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality assurance methodologies and technologies.
• Maintain high standards of quality and professionalism across all construction activities.
• Be accountable for the quality of every construction activity, ensuring compliance with all technical and civil engineering specifications.
