Protection & Control Officer at Mantrac Nigeria Ltd

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

The Protection & Control Officer will be responsible basically to assist the manager on the day-to-day running of the security activities

MAIN FUNCTIONS

• Daily checks on the activities of Control Room team.
• Work very closely with the vendor during system troubleshooting, repair, or installation.
• Maintain accurate records of data recordings and events, using incident reporting software. 
• Maintain accurate record keeping for the department.
• Daily attendance record of all the guards on duty or off duty from all the branch through our dedicated communication channel.
• Respond to alarms received for security intrusion, fire, and others. 
• Printing magnetic cards and giving the employees and visitors the privileges to enter and move within the company. 
• Preparing bi-weekly situation reports to the Protection & Control Manager
• Monitor the Reman Worn Core and PRA processes with the warehouse team and provide report to the Protection & Control Manager.
• Perform other security related activities as directed by the Protection & Control Manager.
• To comply with HSE policies and standard of Mantrac Nigeria Limited.

RELEVANT INFORMATION

• A degree or its equivalent in any discipline.
• 3 years’ experience in the Security Systems field.
• Good knowledge in IT (networking system) will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of security systems and processes.
• Proficiency in Ms Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) packages
