Project Quantity Surveyor at HEG International Company Ltd

We are a construction company based in Lagos, Nigeria, currently looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to serve our purpose and mission in delivering and managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This includes preparing cost estimates, managing procurement, administering contracts, and ensuring the project is delivered within budget and in compliance with all relevant legal and contractual obligations.

DEPARTMENT: CONSTRUCTION / COST MANAGEMENT
REPORTS TO: SENIOR QUANTITY SURVEYOR / SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER

REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Quantity Surveying
• Proficiency in Cost Estimation Software (e.g; CostX, Candy)
• Strong Analytical, Negotiation, and Communication Skills
• Knowledge of relevant Contract Law, HSE/Quality Policy, and Construction Standards
• Willingness to work Outstation and in varying Weather Conditions
• Being a registered QS is an added advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

• In-charge of Cost Estimation, Maintenance of Bills of Quantities (BoQ), and Budgeting
• Preparation and Issuance of Tender Documentation to Contractors/Suppliers, and Procurement 
• Administration and Maintenance of Contract Documents 
• Tracking, Control and Reporting of Budget Cost
• Project Site Valuations and Preparation of Subcontractor’s Payment
• Liaise and Co-ordinate with Project Stakeholders
