    Project Manager

    Role Summary

    • Leads the end-to-end delivery of construction and redevelopment projects, ensuring strict adherence to scope, budget, timelines, and quality standards.
    • Oversees project planning, technical coordination, and execution, ensuring compliance with all regulatory and engineering requirements. Directs contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders to achieve optimal performance and collaboration. Monitors costs, risks, and site activities to uphold quality, safety, governance, and continuous improvement.

    Key Responsibilities – Project Manager

    Project Planning & Delivery

    • Lead the planning, coordination, execution, and delivery of construction and redevelopment projects from inception to completion.
    • Develop, monitor, and manage detailed project programmes, work plans, milestones, and critical paths to ensure timely delivery.
    • Track project performance against approved scope, budget, timelines, and quality benchmarks.

    Technical Oversight

    • Review and coordinate architectural, civil, structural, and MEP drawings/specifications for constructability and compliance.
    • Provide technical supervision and engineering guidance during project execution.
    • Ensure adherence to approved designs, engineering standards, statutory regulations, and HSE requirements.

    Contractor & Consultant Management

    • Manage contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to ensure performance in line with contractual obligations.
    • Conduct site meetings, progress reviews, and technical coordination sessions with all stakeholders.
    • Review contractor claims, variations, extension of time requests, and progress valuations.

    Cost & Commercial Management

    • Monitor project costs and support cost-control initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.
    • Work closely with Quantity Surveyors and Finance teams on budgeting, BOQs, valuations, procurement planning, and project cashflow monitoring.
    • Identify and mitigate cost escalation risks and potential commercial exposures.

    Site Supervision & Quality Assurance

    • Carry out regular site inspections to ensure quality workmanship and compliance with specifications.
    • Monitor project quality, material standards, testing, and inspection procedures.
    • Ensure timely resolution of technical and construction-related issues on site.

    Stakeholder & Regulatory Coordination

    • Liaise with internal stakeholders, regulatory authorities, utility providers, and external consultants to secure approvals and ensure smooth project execution.
    • Prepare project reports, executive updates, presentations, and technical documentation for Management and Board review.

    Risk Management

    • Identify project risks, delays, design conflicts, and execution bottlenecks, and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
    • Ensure proper documentation and administration of contractual notices, project correspondence, and dispute-resolution matters where necessary.

    Leadership & Operational Excellence

    • Lead multidisciplinary project teams and foster collaboration across departments.
    • Drive accountability, performance management, and adherence to project governance procedures.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives in project delivery, construction methodology, and operational efficiency

    Qualifications and Experience

    • A minimum of a B.Sc. or B.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering, Building Technology, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or related fields.
    • A master’s degree (M.Sc./MBA) in Project Management, Construction Management, or related disciplines is an advantage.
    • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or similar are required.
    • Minimum of 7 years post-qualification experience, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
    • Strong knowledge of building codes, development processes, construction methodologies, and local regulations.
    • Proven experience in delivering multiple mid- to large-scale real estate development projects.

    Required Skills and Competencies

    • Excellent leadership, team supervision, and people management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, AutoCAD, and other relevant project management tools.
    • Strong contract administration and negotiation skills.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication and reporting skills.
    • Budgeting, cost control, and financial acumen in project environments.
    • Ability to manage stakeholders, resolve conflicts, and drive project alignment with company objectives.
    • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
