Project Manager (IT & Software Projects) at InfoStrategy Technology

Job Summary

• The Project Manager (IT & Software Development) will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring that all IT, software, and digital transformation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. 
• This role requires a strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to successfully deliver enterprise software solutions. 
• The role also requires detailed documentation and reporting to the Project Lead, senior management, and relevant stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
IT & Software Project Management:

• Manage multiple IT and software development projects, ensuring timely execution and quality delivery.
• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation. 

Requirements Gathering & Scope Management:

• Work with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document project requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development teams.
• Manage scope changes, ensuring proper documentation and communication to stakeholders.

Agile & Scrum Methodologies:

• Implement Agile practices such as Sprint Planning, Backlog Grooming, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. 
• Work closely with the Project Lead, Product Owner, Development Team, and QA Team to ensure smooth execution of sprints.
• Track and report sprint progress, identifying and resolving blockers in real-time.

Manage cross-functional teams:

• Including software developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and business analysts. 
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure project goals are met efficiently.

Detailed Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain and update comprehensive project documentation, including project charters, roadmaps, sprint reports, and risk logs.
• Provide weekly and monthly reports to the project lead and senior management, detailing project progress, blockers, and next steps.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure project success and efficiency. 6. Business Development & Stakeholder Management
• Support business development efforts by contributing to proposal development, RFP responses, and technical documentation.
• Engage with clients, partners, and stakeholders to ensure project expectations are met.
• Provide regular status updates, reports, and presentations to management and key stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications are a strong advantage.
• 3-5 years of experience in IT, software development, or technology project management.
• Proven experience managing software development projects, enterprise solutions, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
• Experience with project management tools such as Jira, ClickUp or Trello.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), UI/UX design, and DevOps principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills and excellent in communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
