Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Construction / Engineering Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects from start to finish.
• The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordinating project activities with the construction and engineering teams.
• The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Planning: Develop and manage project plans, including project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Ensure that project plans are aligned with business objectives and stakeholders' requirements.
• Communication: Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including clients, team members, and other relevant parties. Ensure that stakeholders are informed of project progress, challenges, and risks.
• Resource management: Manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials. Ensure that resources are allocated efficiently to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Risk management: Identify and manage project risks, including technical risks, safety risks, and financial risks. Develop risk mitigation plans and contingency plans as needed.
• Quality management: Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards. Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control processes to monitor and control project quality.
• Safety management: Ensure that safety policies and procedures are followed on the project site. Develop and implement safety plans and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all project personnel.
• Contract management: Manage project contracts, including negotiating contract terms, monitoring contract compliance, and resolving contract disputes.
• Change management: Manage project changes, including scope changes, schedule changes, and budget changes. Develop change management processes to ensure that changes are documented, approved, and communicated to stakeholders.
• Team management: Manage project team members, including hiring, training, and evaluating team members. Foster a positive team environment and provide leadership to motivate and guide team members.
• Overall, the prospective project will be responsible for managing all aspects of a project, from planning and execution to monitoring and controlling.
• He will responsible for ensuring that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards while maintaining a safe working environment for all project personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Project management certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction related project management, with a focus on the MEP engineering space.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes and standards.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Primavera, and AutoCAD.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
