Project Manager at Descasio - Nigeria

Overview:

• We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team at Descasio Limited. This role will be responsible for managing customer project deployments, ensuring strict adherence to project timelines, scope and approved standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with the service delivery team and customers to guarantee seamless project execution, maintain high-quality standards, and drive customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Execution & Timeline Management:

• Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring alignment with the agreed project timeline and SOW.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and bottlenecks proactively.
• Ensure all projects are delivered within scope, time, and budget constraints.

Project Documentation & Reporting:

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including meeting notes, action items, and project progress reports.
• Ensure timely submission of project deliverables and status reports to stakeholders.
• Track and document all change requests, ensuring alignment with project scope.

Customer Engagement & Feedback Management:

• Capture and analyze customer feedback on all project implementations to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct project close-out reviews with customers to document lessons learned and areas of improvement.

Stakeholder Coordination:

• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of customer projects.
• Facilitate effective communication and alignment between customers and internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with Descasio’s project management frameworks and best practices.

Process Improvement & Compliance:

• Continuously improve project management processes and best practices.
• Support in developing and refining Descasio’s organizational project management framework and processes to enhance efficiency and standardization.
• Ensure projects adhere to Descasio’s governance, security, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in IT services, cloud deployments, or digital transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies and IT project execution.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile Scrum Master) is a plus.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to issue resolution.
