We are seeking to hire Project Engineers

Job Summary

Partner with relevant stakeholders to drive project conception/planning, execution, modification of plant with a view to improving efficiency and productivity and systematic follow up on the management approved Annual Estimate for CAPEX that borders on Capital Projects.

You will be accountable for

• Ensuring that all projects are executed at the best costs and delivered to specification and schedule.
• Effective planning and efficient installation of new equipment in all existing locations of the three factories.
• Vetting Bills of Quantities (BOQ) as developed by Engineers and Project Consultant to ensure their conformance to agreed designs.
• Preparing economic/technical justifications for projects and analyzing the cost benefits as it relates to the overall co-operate objective of the organization.
• Building a strong strategic alliance with local and foreign Suppliers/Contractors to obtain high quality of products and services at minimum cost.
• Adequate study, design and recommendation for modification, production machineries with a view to achieving optimum machine utilization and meeting customer deliveries.
• Formulating departmental objectives, policies and strategies ensuring that the necessary plans required for the realization of the overall business objectives and goals are put in place.
• Generating information concerning plant capacity, efficiency issues, developments in technology, etc. that may influence corporate decision-making.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess

• A Bachelor’s degree or HND in Engineering or relevant disciplines with NYSC certificate
• Minimum of 10years’ experience of which 5 years must be Project Management experience in FMCG.
• Excellent Project Management skills
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal/influencing skills.
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Possession of an internationally recognised Project Management Certification will be an added advantage
