Role Overview

This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and monitoring of technical systems and processes to ensure efficient and safe operations. The Project Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, regulatory authorities, and stakeholders to meet project objectives while ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. This position requires experienced professionals who can manage diverse projects efficiently and meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and management of engineering projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and technical specifications.
• Monitor technical aspects of the project, including process optimization and equipment performance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation measures for potential technical and operational challenges.
• Develop and review detailed project documentation, including designs, technical specification, and progress reports. 
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including operations, logistics, and engineering, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Provide technical leadership and troubleshooting support throughout project lifecycles.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders, including management and clients.
• Manage contracts with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
• Prepare technical and financial reports for project evaluation.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, decisions, and modifications.
• Any other task assigned to you.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience managing industrial or engineering projects, including exposure to oil and gas or heavy industries.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management tools.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with attention to detail and results-oriented thinking.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas industry standards (e.g., API, ASME, ISO).
• Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations in the oil and gas sector.
