Collaborate with the project delivery team to develop project scope, plans, schedules, and budgets for solar mini-grid installations.
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders to determine optimal system design and layout for solar projects.
Work closely with Design Engineers to prepare detailed engineering designs, including electrical schematics, equipment specifications, and bill of materials required for solar projects.
Coordinate procurement activities with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of necessary equipment and materials.
Provide regular project implementation updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Supervise the installation and commissioning of solar systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance during project implementation and post-installation support.
Proactively identify potential project risks and develop response actions to mitigate negative impacts.
Engage with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the design and delivery of solar projects.
Proficiency in CAD and Solar Design Simulation Software.
Willingness to travel to project sites in various locations as required.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with a demonstrated problem-solving capability.
Passion for leveraging renewable energy for sustainable development in communities.
