Project Engineer (Contract and Tendering) at Ellasot Consulting

Duties / Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise all purchasing activities of the department
• Prepare proposals, request quotes and negotiate purchase terms and conditions
• Ensure production of final bid document and arrange to supply to client
• Regular check of Nipex for potential tender
• Ensure bid and proposals documentation is formatted, collected and presented in a professional manner
• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects
• Assist the Project Engineering Manager in the administration of the project and provides technical oversight and coordination of design engineering
• Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status
• Cooperating and communicating with the project manager and other project participants and collaborating with senior engineers to create more efficient project methods and to maintain the project's profitability
• Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions
• Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment
• Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection
• Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

Requirements / Skills

• B.Sc / HND in Engineering or related discipline
• 4 years’ experience field and project planning experience
• Proficiency in MS Officeand knowledge of design software
