Project Engineer at Ceesolar

Job Description

• The Project Engineer will play a vital role in the successful planning, execution, and successful completion of projects.
• Your responsibilities also include conducting site assessments, energy audits, installation of energy systems, participation in mini-grid projects, and capacity-building projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and implement project plans and schedules.
• Contribute to the successful execution of projects, ensuring completion on time and within budget.
• Perform engineering designs and technical analysis to meet project specifications.
• Review and verify technical specifications, drawings, and data for accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct detailed site assessments to evaluate project feasibility and determine the scope of solar energy projects.
• Perform energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency and sustainability improvements.
• Oversee the installation of energy systems, ensuring compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
• Provide post-installation technical support, including troubleshooting, performance analysis, and maintenance guidance.
• Participate in the planning and execution of mini-grid projects and other capacity-building initiatives.
• Engage in risk identification and contribute to the development of mitigation strategies.
• Support communication with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit tender applications and grant proposals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Lead the end-to-end execution of solar projects, including mini grids, home systems, and streetlights.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including technical specifications, progress reports, and financial records.
• Provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on project progress.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / HND in Engineering.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
