Role Overview
Our client, a rapidly expanding agribusiness with operations across Anambra State, is seeking a highly organized, proactive and results-driven Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of strategic projects across the organization.
The successful candidate will coordinate project activities, manage timelines, facilitate communication among stakeholders, monitor project performance, maintain project documentation, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget,and in alignment with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate project planning, scheduling, implementation, and monitoring activities.
- Develop and maintain project plans, work schedules, and progress trackers.
- Monitor project milestones, deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and track action items.
- Collaborate with internal departments, contractors, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.
- Identify project risks, escalate issues, and support the implementation of mitigation plans.
- Prepare periodic project status reports and performance dashboards for management.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, records, and reporting systems.
- Track project expenditures and support budget monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, project governance standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support procurement, logistics, and resource coordination for project implementation.
- Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance project delivery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Agriculture, Economics, or a related discipline.
- Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or Scrum Master is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' experience coordinating projects in agribusiness, construction, manufacturing, FMCG, development, or related sectors.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Project or similar project management software.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- High attention to detail with excellent documentation and reporting abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
