Project Assurance & Risk Personnel at U-Connect Human Resources Consulting

JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

• Responsible for project governance, assurance reviews, risk identification, mitigation planning, and performance monitoring across Oil & Gas engineering and construction projects to ensure compliance with approved objectives, procedures, and delivery requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain project risk registers, risk management plans, and mitigation trackers.
• Facilitate project risk workshops, risk assessments, and quantitative risk analysis where required.
• Coordinate project assurance reviews, audits, readiness assessments, and compliance verification.
• Monitor project performance against approved scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk objectives.
• Identify emerging risks, execution constraints, and potential project deviations.
• Review project execution plans, governance documentation, and assurance deliverables.
• Track corrective actions and ensure timely closure of assurance findings.
• Prepare risk reports, management dashboards, and project performance updates.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, HSE, procurement, contracts, and project controls teams.

KEY COMPETENCIES

• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant project assurance, risk management, or project controls experience in the Oil & Gas industry
• Experience in project risk registers, risk workshops, assurance reviews, and governance processes
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and performance reporting
• PMP, PMI-RMP, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage
• Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, and communication skills

JOB QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8–12 years of relevant project assurance, risk management, or project controls experience in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Experience in project risk registers, risk workshops, assurance reviews, and governance processes.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, risk assessment techniques, and performance reporting.
• PMP, PMI-RMP, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)

• Timely identification and reporting of project risks.
• Closure rate of assurance findings and risk mitigation actions.
• Accuracy and timeliness of project reports.
• Compliance with project governance and assurance requirements.
